Callejón de Hamel, Central Havana.

Much of Salvador Gonzales Escalona’s artwork along Callejón de Hamel is made from found objects: bathtubs, window grills, car parts, to name a few. Tucked in a courtyard off the Callejón is a pile of found objects, curing in the tropical sun, awaiting the metamorphosis to art.
